Tattoo Submissions
Thank you for your interest in my work. This page will have all of the instructions on submitting a tattoo request, as well as a link to a form that you will need to fill out. Please read through the page entirely before proceeding to the the form.
- Tattoo requests can only be made via the attached form. I have started using a form to speed up the submission process because everything is in one place and I can request and require specific information. If the the form is disabled, my books are closed while I work through the submissions I currently have. I will announce when my books will open via social media, primarily Instagram. At some point I will start a mailing list and you can choose to receive email notifications of when the form will be going live.
- Please fill out the form completely. Be descriptive of what you want to get done, where you want the piece and how large the piece is ("medium sized" isn't a size, just ask McDonald's. I need inches. Centimeters are okay, too). There is a section to upload a photo of the area you want to get tattooed. This is important so that I can understand the area, it's size and shape, and if there are any surrounding pieces or skin blemishes I need to work around. Please have someone else take the photo, in good lighting and from straight on. This will often mean crouching low to take pictures of legs. Please, do NOT send a selfie or use a mirror! The angle is inaccurate, and often poorly framed. I'm not looking for a beauty shot, I'm looking for information that will improve the tattoo selection process. If the photo upload isn't working, that's because it is full. I will ask for a shot before we schedule a consultation.
- I will close my books when I reach around 25-30 submissions and I can not say how long my books will remain open, perhaps only a few hours. I need you to please be patient. Emailing me asking if I received the form does not help; it clogs up my emails and confuses my order. The form will let you know that it was received. I will work through submissions at a rate that I can handle, usually 5-10 at a time and schedule from there.
-My rate is $170/hr. As I have unofficially done in the past, I will begin to reduce my rate for large, ongoing projects (full sleeves and back pieces) following our third session.
- I can not take on every project. Over the last few years I have been working to hone a style that is one I enjoy working in and has some amount of recognition and as a result I don't do certain subject matter, types, or styles of work anymore. Examples of my current work are all on this website here, or on my Instagram. Subjects that interest me are nerdom, whimsical, people, animals, floral or decorative framing, and mythology. Let's do some BRIGHT colors! If a style or subject isn't something I am looking to do, I will do what I can to point you toward someone that might be able to do what you're looking for.
- I think that covers it all. Let's get this party started....
