The art of tattooing has become very popular. Recent polls suggest that more than half of all people between 18 and 25 have at least one tattoo. I strive to make that percentage bigger.
I am a classically trained artist from the School of Visual Arts in New York City where I graduated with a degree in Illustration. Since then I’ve spent about 8 years working for movie studios, small press book companies, and various magazine agents. Having enjoyed the art of tattooing from the outside for quite awhile, I decided to look into doing it for a living; I haven't looked back. I am now a tattoo artist currently working at Majestik Tattoo in Tucson, Arizona. I still enjoy painting and will even pick up the odd job here and there, but I can finally say that every day of work is enjoyable.
After tattooing for the better part of a year, I am now discovering my niche in this field, and very much enjoy utilizing the skin as a canvas to create beautiful artwork. My goal in art has always been creating exciting, fantastic works of art, and that has definitely carried over into my tattooing.
